At Kua Private Chef Services, we make your Los Cabos celebration, a personal, social and delicious experience. Our passion is charged and driven to create original, authentic and unique flavors with a palette of colors and textures. At Kua Chef Service, we provide catered services to include any type of event required, including such services as Drop-off Catering, Romantic Dinners for Two, Family Gatherings, Bachelor & Bachelorette Events, Rehearsal Dinners, Boutique Weddings, Multi-Course Meals, Tasting Menus and any other Celebration requiring Delicious food.

The Kua Team brings many styles of cuisine together from traditional Mexican flavors, farm to table and global cuisine. At Kua, our commitment is centered on our Clients; with the promise of utilizing the freshest, local, and organic ingredients, respecting these delicious food products in seasoning, marinating and cooking preparation and most importantly to delivering exceptional service.

Kua Chef Services works to build a strong community with our Local Cabo Farmers Market, and their local farms. Working with the farmers, Kua offers her clients the opportunity to visit these farms to understand our commitment and passion for quality food products, the cooking process and the development & execution of sustainable opportunities. Clients often find these excursions fun and educational, leaving with an understanding of how fresh and delicious produce can be achieved in the Los Cabos Desert. The ultimate aim of Kua is to help the local producers by procuring their seasonal ingredients and utilizing in our menus. The additional aim is to show these farmers appreciation to their hard work and commitment in producing flavorful local produce.

After graduating from the Culinary University, her continued interest in world cuisine to learn new techniques, and with her new title, as Chef, Chef Ari would travel to the United States to continue her training. In the USA, Chef Ari would join the team of the Bar Tartine Restaurant, located in the Mission district of San Fransisco. Trained by the guidance of two wonderfully incredible chefs, Nick Balla and Courtney Burns, Chef Ari not only learned the concept and execution of farm to table cuisine, but also introduction to many new ingredients, the distinction and understanding of quality food, fermentation and organic produce. During this time with Bar Tartine, Chef Ari would most importantly learn nutritional requirements and how to manage individual food requirements, such as; restrictions, preferences and allergies.

The time Spent at Bar Tartine, opened Chef Ari’s eyes to the importance of food conservation. Chef Ari is driven by this concept and remembers the words well that was stated by her Bar Tartine chef, “Use everything, try everything and take the food products that are normally discarded and learn to be creative, transforming those unused foods and make them delicious”.

Chef Ari believes the most exciting and challenging part of cooking is in the thinking process of determining the limitless possibilities of transforming food into various flavors, textures, aromas and sensations that our palates are yet to discover. Chef Ari understands that food will always be about histories around the world and for her the path of travel to places far and near will always be fundamental to her growth as a Chef.

After her experience in San Francisco, she continued her learning by traveling to South East Asia. Chef Ari landed in Bangkok, Thailand and trained in traditional Thailand cuisine at the Bo.Lan Restaurant, which, was awarded by S. Pellegrino, as one of the 50 Best Asia Restaurants in 2017 & 2018. After her stay with Bo.Lan she then had brief travel to Laos and Myanmar, where she continued to learn different styles of Asian cuisine.

Upon returning to Mexico, She made Baja California Sur her home, where in 2017 she opened Kua Catering armed with the incredible knowledge provided by obtaining a University Degree as Chef and thru working with some of the most incredible Chefs. Dining at Kua is a fusion of styles and is very refreshing. And one thing for sure, with Chef Ari’s curiosity to travel the world and learn new cuisines, Kua will continue to transform and create delicious dishes that will always be new even if you are a returning customer.

Kua Chef Services is Certified by the Mexico Board Of Tourism
